What an incredible experience Syun Izakaya was. From the time we walked in until we left, everything was wonderful. The food and sake selection was amazing, everything we ordered was perfection, and the waitress was the sweetest. We will absolutely be going back as often as we can. It's not cheap sushi, it's worth every penny.

Good food but service only fair. Took a long time to get our food after placing an order for 2 rolls and an appetizer.

I've been there several times, but I've never seen it on the menu or daily specials. O'Sushi, also in Hillsboro, has it on the menu, but I haven't tried it there.

No, but they do have a great pork belly.

The happy hour times are 5-6pm and 9pm to close every day. If you go for sake during happy hour be sure to ask if the sake of the day or the happy hour sake is better. The sake of the day was cheaper when we went and it was a higher quality as per the recommendation of our server.
